C Family & Sweet Leo {St. Louis Fall Spring Mini Session at Queeny Park}

There is something so magical about October sessions in St. Louis — golden light, crisp air, and leaves that crunch under little feet. 🍂

Last fall, I had the absolute joy of photographing the C family during my October 2025 mini sessions at Queeny Park, and their sweet toddler son, Leo, completely stole the show.

Leo is at that perfect in-between stage — curious about everything, just independent enough to want to explore, but still quick to run back into mom and dad’s arms. Those are the moments I live for.

From the second we started, he was busy inspecting leaves, pointing out airplanes overhead, and of course, showing the best smiles came when mom and dad scooped him up for tickles.

Mini sessions with toddlers are never about stiff posing — they’re about movement, connection, and letting your little one lead. Leo reminded us that the magic is always in the in-between.
